Its always a pleasure when any couple asks you to document their wedding day. In this case the bride happened to be a sister of one of my friends. I instantly knew that it was going to be a great day sharing it with guests and family members that I know quite well!
The day started off with bridal preparation in SOE hairdressers in Gillingham, everyone including Christine was very calm and enjoying the pampering. After the hair was complete the girls headed off to the Ferry house Inn in Sheppey which is a great venue and not too far from where I live. I have shot numerous weddings here, but this one was going to be my first time shooting an outdoor ceremony there.
Christine and Rob have been together for quite some time 13 years in fact! Rob finally plucked up the courage and proposed a few years back. This was not your ordinary proposal however, no Rob decided to pop the question on Leopards Rock in South Africa, which is a small overhanging rock which looks out to the surrounding national park.
Christine has a huge interest in anything Japanese, and this interest was included into the wedding with stunning table plans all in Japanese theme. This then led them to a two week honeymoon in Japan.
Here are a few highlights from their day!
